Chutes may be built or rebuilt using carbon steel construction with chromium carbide overlaid liner plates.

Ore Weigh Hopper

Woodings offers gate type ore hoppers with load cells for ore weight indication. The hopper body is carbon steel and lined with hard face overlay plate for long service life.

· Tie rod type checking system for load cells
· Pneumatic cylinder operated ore gate
· Full shop pre-assembly and function test prior to shipment

Ore Buckets

Woodings supplies both new and repaired clamshell buckets with abrasion resistant plate (400-450 BHN) for bucket lips/trays. A hard face overlay for the edges and the inside of bucket lips increases service life. The main bucket bushings are manganese steel while the main bucket pins are produced from 4340 with 400 series stainless overlay or from manganese steel. Sheave retainers are manganese bronze. Woodings conducts a full shop open/close test of every bucket prior to shipment.
