Back Draft Valves
Unlike most competitors, the Woodings valve is completely water
cooled. Valves are manufactured from pressure vessel carbon
steel while the seats are produced from forgings. The throat
and disc is refractory lined. This valve features a gate-type
shutoff valve.
Blow
off Valves
Fabricated from pressure vessel carbon steel plate, Woodings blowoff
valves are available in various types of operator configurations,
as Limitorque or clutch operated, and feature improved seat designs
for reliable, consistent performance.
Burner
Valves
With a gate type shut off valve, Woodings
burner valves are designed with high velocity water-cooling to
help prevent settlement from fall out of cooling water. Valves
are fabricated from pressure vessel carbon steel with seats formed
from forgings.
Cold Blast Valves
Feature a gate type shut off valve with pressure equalizing
ports. Valves are fabricated from pressure vessel carbon steel
with stainless steel overlay for the seat. Manual operation
with the option to convert to powered valve actuators.
Chimney Valves
Woodings can supply both gate type and elbow type valves depending
on your requirements. Seats are water-cooled; bodies are produced
from pressure vessel carbon steel. For sealing, Woodings offers
shaft/stem packing assemblies.

Equalizing
and Relief Valves
Woodings E&R valves are available
as plug or flap types, operated hydraulically or
pneumatically. Woodings/VAI Davy offers a variety
of E&R valves that can provide significant cost
and efficiency benefits.
In a unique design and engineering
breakthrough, the Woodings/VAI Davy alliance has
led to the development of an integrated manhole access
door into the 16" flap valve. Maintenance time and
cost are slashed, and efficiency increases dramatically. |

Hot Blast Valves
The Woodings valve is completely water cooled. The throat and disc is refractory lined. This valve is designed with high velocity water-cooling to help prevent settlement from falling out of cooling water.
The high-efficiency 66” valves are completely water-cooled and feature high velocity water passage which minimizes settlement of material from cooling water.

Valves
Woodings uses pressure vessel carbon steel to produce valve
bodies and discs.
A stainless steel overlay is used for both the valve body seat
and disc seat. A high temperature o-ring seal is used on the
disc seat.
Woodings’ robust design for valve linkages, pins, and
bushings translates into long service life. Stainless steel
valve pins and hardened steel bushings contribute to the long
life and superior performance.
Woodings conducts full shop operation and pressure testing
to ensure proper valve operation and seat/disc sealing.
